Influencer Brianna Olsen Addresses Santos Salazar’s Arrest Following Reported Domestic Violence Incident

Social media influencer Brianna Olsen found herself at the center of intense online attention after Santos Salazar, her former partner and the father of her infant son, was arrested in Los Angeles following a reported domestic violence incident.

Los Angeles police responded to a domestic violence call on August 13. Salazar, 21, was subsequently taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder and booked into a Los Angeles jail. Jail records showed that his bail was initially set at $1 million. Authorities provided few details about what allegedly occurred, citing an ongoing investigation.

Salazar was released from custody on August 17 after the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office declined to immediately file criminal charges. His attorney, Nicholas Rosenberg, characterized the incident as a domestic disagreement that had been exaggerated by an eyewitness. The district attorney's office later said the matter had been referred back to law enforcement for additional investigation.

Olsen also publicly described the situation as a major misunderstanding and denied speculation that she was seeking a restraining order against Salazar. The controversy has placed renewed attention on Olsen, whose personal life has frequently unfolded before a large social media audience.
